Professional Progression

I did the above illustration when I was 17 after being inspired by 70's blaxploitation film posters. Damn this was such a long tie ago, not really, I'm only 28 but I am worlds away from that point in life. Sometimes i look at my old work (which no one has really seen) and look at it like damn, this was me?? Someday i'll scan all my old books, I have 7 volumes of blackbooks of unseen work and scanning work isnt the best way I'd like to spend my day. Anyways, the above piece then inspired this recent painting..
